I need to create an online table on the web so people can see it. Does exist any tool or site which have the facility of creating and customizing a table?
 
Tables are easy.. If you want to create a spreadsheet onbline you can save an excel workbook as an html file.. File, Save As.. html
 
yes but how can I publish it on the net? I thought about a site which let you create tables but also host them.
 
Well you can get your own domain, serve it from your own PC. Or piggy back off of a friends website.
 
yes, but I don't wanna just host it, I also wanna show it so people can see it directly from a link.
 
well yeah, your table would be available as soon as it is hosted... there is always a link for hosted files on itnernet.
 
yes, are plenty of them, the problem is that they only host them and have only the "download" button, nothing else. But I wanna publish that table, to show it to people: a link to bring me to the table itself, not to download it. how can I do that?
 
If youre looking for easy, google docs i believe has a spreadsheet section. Its feature loaded and allows multiple authors and viewers and stuff like that. I just got the sense from your post that you wanted something easy. I know tables in HTML are easy to learn but if its a large table, that can be somewhat tedious and not so userfriendly. I guess you could you dreamweaver or something.

EDIT: Also, it sounds like you may already have your table written. You can upload XLS (and a few other formats). IDK how well it works, ive never done it...

epidemik, my respect goes to you! This is exactly what I was talking about. Simple and efficient, I can make tables and more other stuff, I can publish them. Thank you very much!
 
No problem. IDK this might be the first time i've actually helped someone on these forums. When you gave that description, i had a sense i knew of something that could do that. just took me a second to remember what it was. feels good to be helping for once instead of receiving :D
 
Can't you do that excel thing where you save it as a html page and then find a free file hosting site where you can host it for free.

Wouldn't that work?
