i need help. i accidently download a virus or something. i started getting alot of popups. and restarted and a blue screen appears at start up. saying something about the computer cant start cause of new hardware or software. i restarted in safemode and ran the virus scan and picked up a few trojans. then norton said there is still viruses. i used spybot. and restarted and same message appears. can anyone help

"c:\boot.inx" ? The only way that should be spelled is "boot.ini" and should be a hidden file not visible at the root of C by default. The information available about the "Win32.Tibs.aw" trojan downloader can be seen at http://www.viruslist.com/en/viruses/encyclopedia?virusid=105011

The trogan upon bootup creates a file in the "C:\Windows\system\" directory along with creating a value in the system registry to autoload it. You can use regedit to remove the value shown at the link and send both files into the recycle bin. AVG is good one for finding anything else that it has downloaded including where on the drive they are located.
