The only other thing i can think of is that it can only support 1GB of single sided memory... What is the exact model of your desktop?

Glad to hear it worked!arch said:Thanks for the responses everybody. I guess one of them just wasn't pushed in far enough. Out of curiosity I took both sticks out and then stuck them back in, and that did the trick!
