Open Office and Windows 7

Hi.

Does Open office work OK with Windows 7 (64) does anyone know or better still anyone got experience of running O.O. on W7 please?

It runs fine on Vista x64 and 7 x86, so it should be fine. However, I don't specifically have experience running it on 64-bit Windows. I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine, though.

I would, but it's 150mb and i'm on mcdonalds free wifi, so there's no chance

Use a download manager like WackGet. You'll get it a piece at a time.

the thing about mcdonalds free wifi is that you have to log into it. and then you get 50mb of data before it logs you out and you have to log in again. and even though i pause the download, and log in again before all the space is used, it breaks the download managers. i've tried plenty.

For self experience..the add-ons (Like JAVA or Flash Player..)werent very stable a couple months ago in Windows 7 X64 envirnoments (creates sametimes BSODs if you load a lot like an farmville..
