OpenGL updates?

Hi,
I just bought a Homeworld Remastered with the hopes of playing it on my laptop without thinking too much of it but it is telling me I need to update my OpenGL from 3.1 to 3.3. I tried to update my driver, checked the OpenGL website, and tried Googling for an answer but didn't have much luck. Is it possible to simply update it or is my GPU simply not good enough?
I have a Radeon HD 6770M on my laptop.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

What exact model laptop do you have? Are you using 6770m or the onboard video? Not sure if the graphic auto switches when needed.
 
According to AMD website, the chip supports OpenGL 4.1 so 3.3 should be no problem. Did you get the latest driver from AMD's website or your laptop manufacturer's?
 
I can't check the actual model right now. I updated the dinner through the control panel. How do you check which video card is being used because I think there is an integrated one on the motherboard
 
I couldn't find the model online and I came remember/don't know how to check but I have 6 gigs of ram, a i7-2670QM processor, windows 7 and it's an HP Pavilion dv6 notebook.
