Opening PL files

hi, what program do i use to open up PL files? or wat do i do to PL files to open them. i heard you had to rename to an exe but anyway, the faster the response the better (im in a hurry)

right then. a PL file is a CGI script file, it has to be installed on a server and then referred to by daughter scripts or sub scripts.

but now im more lost

i got an e-mail from someone with a PL file in it and he wants me to print it. i dont have the software to open it. if someone doesnt mind explaining step by step to me wat i need to do to print it that owuld be great. keep in mind i dont know anything about it so plz dont make asumptions.

i dont have the software to open it.

its a script which means it is in plain text, therefore just open in with notepad or any text editor. Then press print.
