I tried opera after running Firefox for a while and used it for about 5 mins and just didnt like the interface. Also, Its probably possible to get a torrent plugin for firefox. ooooo a quick google search http://torrentfreak.com/allpeers-a-bittorrent-extension-for-firefox/

Installed 9, lookin at all of it's features. Not sure why I would need "widgets", seems like alot of clutter for a browser. Looking at the list they have, I can't find anything that seems useful lol. Already without a single change to the browser it's utilizing 10MB more RAM than firefox which has multiple extensions and tweaks enabled/installed.
Reminds me I need to get the extension that brings you back to the page you were at when you closed the browser for Firefox, forgot about that. Still not real impressed with Opera. I'm not one to care who had what features first, that's not the issue, it seems like Firefox can better manage them and use less system resources. Just my opinion, there is nothing blatantly bad about Opera. I just like Firefox more.

I ran a speed test and both browsers gave me the same results, neither was faster/slower by a mentionable degree (Opera had faster download, FF had faster upload). If Opera would have been faster at loading pages or used less RAM I'd probably have a different opinion. I'm not trying to convince anyone not to switch, this is just my personal experience with them both.

Well, I just love Opera. I like the features in the browser (I have to mention that I don´t use firefox).
Features I love:
1) The great access to the download window and resume function.
2) The downloading starts before saving the file.
3) It remembers the last pages at the last session.
4) Fantastic bookmark functions and shortcuts.
5) It handles valid code in a beautifull manner.
6) Images are opened in the center of the screen.
7) Well I have just used this browser for a long time.
Very subjective opinion... but there should also be room for that??
