I think it's a power issue. But, if I connect more than one USB2.0 device to my computer at once none of them will work. For example, if I have my USB2.0 wireless nic attached and then connect my USB2.0 Keychain drive it will give me a failed to connect sound and then knock the nic offline and neither device will work no matter what I do.

Now, If I connect my USB2.0 hard drive which is powered by an AC adapter it will knock the nic offline, but, I can unplug the nic and plug it back in and both devices work fine.

USB1.1 devices are not effected at all. They all work fine even when 2.0 devices are attached.

This issue just sorta started happening one day out of no where. I plugged in my keychain flashdrive which I've done 1000 times before and I got knocked offline. It's done it ever since. Thanks!

Hmm...possible driver corruption? Maybe re-install your motherboard drivers (they should include the USB 2.0 driver) and see if that fixes it. I can't see how power would be affected by a simple keychain drive. How old is the mobo you are using (or is a PCI expansion card?)

It's not that old it's a Nforce2 chipset. Maybe a little more than a year old.
Here's another crazy thing. If I plug everything in with the computer off and then boot the computer it all works fine.

Hmm...that is indeed odd. Did you try the driver re-install? Or even different drivers if they are available. I'm using the newest platform drivers from www.nvidia.com for my NF2 and they work great. I currently use my mouse and digital camera in the USB slots and both work simotaneously(sp?)
