I've decided to go down the building my own computer road and need some advice and opinons on the components im thinking about.I'm pretty new to all this so most opinons will be super helpful to me. If it helps i live in Australia, will be buying most parts from msy in box hill, and i'm using newegg for reviews. Price range is $1000 max, but naturally im trying to keep it under that by a bit. This is what i have at the moment,
AMD Phenom II X2 $138
ASUS M4A78-EM $115
Kingston 4GB Kit 800 $63
CoolerMaster 330 $75
SATA Samsung DVD $49
CoolerMaster Extreme+ 600 $105
SATA Seagate 1TB $125
512M 9600GT GIGABYTE $121
Total $791
Mainly interested if anyone has any suggestions on different parts than what i have listed that they have found to be better than what i have atm. Also hoping that i could get out of buying a PSU by just buying a case with a good power supply but is 400/450 to low? It will be used for multi-tasking etc, and medium gaming eg, sims 3, guild wars 2 when it comes out etc. Look for something fast and something that will last.thanks in advance =)
