opinions/problems with x64

Okay I have a couple questions thta I was wondering if I could get clarified. My XP installation went bad (leaked corporate sp1 keys trying to update to sp2 = BAAAAD idea). Anyways, I have legit copies of both XP and x64, and since I have a 64 bit processor, I figured it might be worth my while to use x64. Howver, I've heard of people having lots of problems with finding drivers and so forth. So thus far I've found x64 drivers for both my sound card and video card, and they are not available for my printer. Any other things that need drivers that I'm not thinking of? Secondly, all the programs that have been written for 32 bit will still work right? Is this where the emulator comes into play, and if not what exactly does it do? Finally, I have all my music and some games and stuff installed on other partitions, there isn't any reason why I couldn't access them right? Anything else I need to know? And finally, would I just be better off sticking with 32 bit Windows?

I tried x64 and didint like it, so i stuck with XP. There were too many incompatability issues atm. Maybe in a year or so, when everyone starts to turn to 64bit and x64 because big, then ill change.

The biggest annoyance is drivers. Most motherboard companies have released 64bit drivers. ATI and Nvidia have got 64bit drivers. But its for things like printers and webcams were the annoyance kicks in.
