I'm thinking of buying this computer, it's more than I'd really like to spend but I really am in need of a new computer. I've seen this brand only once before. I would like to know if you guys think this computer is worth the money, and if you guys like this brand, I think I'll either get this or build my (first) own, with a cap price of 400 or so. Suggestions?

Raise your cap to $500 and you can definitely built a much better one. You do not want to spend almost $600 on an athlon X2.

For that price you could build yourself a much better computer.

This is assuming you would spend 570 on a build rather than the 400 you suggest. Why spend less on a build and more on a prebuilt?

Well Cuz I REALLY can't spend that much but I could try to stretch my cap if it really was worth it. But I don't need a great computer. Just need to do facebook, Ijji's Soldier front (very basic FPS), youtube, posssibly host a server (don't really need to, plus it's not a big server), and do my school work.

Well if that's all your doing you can build a computer that is quite capable for under 500 dollars.

for just that you could get something pretty good, do you need the monitor or mouse/keyboard and a wifi adapter, or do you already have that stuff.

you are in the us, or where, changes the site i use

and could you do anything more than 400, every bit can get you something better.

Oh I like that second one. I really need a job U_U I try to find pieces to put together to make a budget computer and it always adds up to be more expensive than the prebuilts U_U. Decisions decisions..

self built is only worth it past the 500 usd point, befor there the crappy prebuilts seem to own the market.

True. Although, I don't believe pre-built computers are crappy, they get the job done...

Nice choice, I want to upgrade to the 955 eventually, but my 8750 shows no signs of slowing down :D

And I got no cash... :P
