Optical Drive Recommendations

I just bought a Plextor 716SA/SW (SATA) and I believe that it is not compatible with ASUS motherboards (A8N32 SLI Delux or other A8N boards) so I think that I need to return this product (unless someone has this drive, using it with an AMD system ASUS or not, let me know). Can someone recommend a quality drive that is compatible with ASUS?
 
Its officially true. I contacted Plextor tech support and they confirmed that this drive is not compatible with ASUS or XP 64.

If anyone is running XP 64 Please let me know what drive will work. Thanks
