Hi All,
I recently purchased an Aries PC System from Watford Electronics. When I recently tried to fit a new optical drive however, inside the case there is a rack that all the drives fit to. This is pop-riveted in so cannot be taken out, and the exspansion bays at the front of the case have metal plates over them!
They are not fully covered, as there is just a small metal join between the plates and the front of the case, so I would of thought that you could twist them so they would eventually fall out because the joins would be so stressed. Before I try this out, I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, and how they got around it. I have tried e-mailing and phoning watford electronics but their customer service is terrible and their automated switchboard is equally as bad.
Many Thanks
Alex
