What optical drive do you guys reckon I should get?

I want Dual layer, Lightscribe, and DVD writing.

...strange... I was going to recommend a NEC drive as that's what I've been getting. They have always seemed to be top notch, but Newegg doesn't even seem to have them anymore...

My dad has this drive I do beleive and all is good. But honestly, it's hard to call a really "good" brand anymore. I mean, many drives are manufactured and then rebranded.

I would go with a SATA drive, that way it won't slow down your computer as much.

I,ve been installing alot of LG drives lately and having good luck with them.
