I was fiddling around with color correction in the nVidia control panel when I turned the contrast way down. To my surprise, there were 1 inch spaces to the left and right of the screen and half inch spaces on the top of the screen that I couldn't notice because of my black background. I kept the contrast down and fit the screen-i can notice the difference now from before. I advise anyone still with a CRT to try this-you might be surprised.

Luckily I have an 'auto' adjust on my monitor that adjusts everything everything for me......
The only downside me thinks is that it sets it to a low gamma because I have a hard time seeing people in the shadows in CS:S on the game's stock gama settings........
