I currently have and just sold my 4800+ X2 socket 939 for $265 on an auction and bought an opty 185 for $229. I am not ready to go AM2 yet as I am waiting for the quad cores. I am thinking this is a good deal that I got paid $36 dollars to sell my 4800+ for an opty 185. Does anyone else have the opty 185 and if so what are you overclock speeds with air cooling?

Most Opterons are actually great overclockers. The problem arises in that the newer X2's with better steppings (batch and otherwise) are even better OCers than the stress tested Opterons. So people with older Opterons will actually see an increaes in overclocking potential if they were to buy a newer "So-called-server-ship" opteron.
