Get a lite on drive if you can

i agree...they are very reliable.

ive had mine for 4 years now and its still working fine and it burns disks quite quick.

Mines IDE though.

But if you mean ONLY out of that list i would go for -

Samsung DVD±RW burner, SH-S182M, 18x, Dual, LightScribe, DVDRAM, Zwart OEM

Wow, your so helpful Kof2000, everyone should go to you when they have a question. Seriously, this is like the 80th post Ive seen of yours where you didnt do anything to promote the thread.

Sure you said none of the above, but then give him a better suggestion, dont just leave him hanging!

As for the thread itself, Kill Bill.

Dont bother with SATA unless you dont have ATA, there is no speed boost and it is more expensive. Unless you like to burn images instead of just using sharpy go with lightscribe. Depending on the case, I cant really decide color, but as you put black or silver is good. I think the SH-S182D that you have in your sig is a good choice. Looks like a good price of 30$ too :).

Only thing I wouldnt like, is it runs at 48x read speed for CD instead of 52x.
