ordering suggestions (CPU)

I am going to place an order on newegg.com and I need to get a better processor I have a 939 socket and was thinking something like this..

its going to be an upgrade to my current cpu..
I am getting a cpu and another HDD.

If you guys think I should get A different one please post...

I just upgraded from a s939 3700+ to this same chip. It'd be a fine site better than that single core! Especially with an Oc applied

If you have the money, go for this, it's the fastest processor. Remember that it is a OEM processor, meaning it does not come with a heatsink and fan. You will need to purchase one seperatly, or use the the one that you're using now.

uh-uh. HTT, or ht link. All S939 boards have a 1000mhz Ht link so there will be no problems.

Go with one of the X2 listed above. You could probable clock you 3700 to 2.4 like the 4000 and the 1mb L2 on the 4000 wont make that much difference.

Get this. Half the price with better cooling. X2 Toledos can get pretty hot, so even if you're not overclocking I recommend this.
