OS debate (5 question survey)

Hey everyone. Here's the story: I'm doing a TAFE (college) assignment at the moment of which I've chosen to write a report on the age-old debate of OSes (although the assignment is mainly based on Linux), keeping it as unbiased as possible.

One of the tasks is to conduct a survey, so I've got a couple of questions to ask anyone who's interested?

First of all, please state your gender (M/F) and age group (13-18, 19-41, 41+), then here are the questions:

Which OS would you rather use (Windows, Win Server, Linux, BSD, Mac) if you:
1. were a web host was after an OS for servers?
2. were a web site developer?
3. were a gamer?
4. were a professional photographer?
5. didn't use your computer much, just to listen to music and use the internet, and ran older hardware?

Personal choice:

1. Linux

* Windows for hardcore gaming else Linux. (I do all my gaming under Linux)

Linux is best at everything, I set up my server easily and its great, Great development tools like Nvu and bluefish, these may be available for windows but then your server wouldn't be running to put them up. Im not a gamer but If I was I would probably be more interested in useing WINE to get the game to work instead of playing it, thats just me. Linux can run on almost any hardware, I have a friend running suse on a Pentium with 64mb ram and 2gig hd (Text mode no gui).

linux for games?

you would use linux to code and test websites .. you do know 95+% of your visiters would be using IE and windows.

I still run games with linux, but since I have an ATI card, the drivers aren't as good as ati drivers for windows. Basicly, gaming with linux I get less performance due to bad drivers from ati.
 
Linux for all :)
My graphics card is better than one you'll find on a Mac, so that's good for gaming and photography :)
Linux "just works".

I absolutely love Linux, I'm just not all that competant with it. If I took time to sit down and actually learn it, I would use only Linux.
