os on hd

i run ME and have a 20 gb drive i wanna add to my computer i have no way of wiping it . can i slave it to my system and wipe or will i crash because of the 98 os on the 20 gb drive?
 
you seem to know what your talking about so i wont speak in n00b terms to you. Yeh, slave it in but just make sure that in BIOS its set to boot from the original ME drive, when you get into ME you should be able to see the drive, if you try deleting the contents, you will probably be stopped half way through with it telling you that these files are protected and you wont be able to do it. Does win ME have Disk Management in Admin Tools in Control Panel, if it does then go into there and choose FORMAT on the drive.
