OS void warranty?

So my laptop came with windows, I installed Ubuntu on there and replaced windows 7. Not like I am worried but I was wondering if something was to happen if my warranty would still cover my laptop?

I would think so since a hardware failure does not have to do with my OS, if anything it is better off because it uses less resources so less wear and tear on the hardware and don't get viruses.

Nope, warranty should be fine. If you're worried just format the drive before you need to send it in for repairs.

You should be fine, but I would double check with your laptops manufacturer just to be sure.
