OSX Questions

While I'm not new using OSX, I've used it here and there over the years, mostly for video editing. I've never really used it as a daily driver, but now with getting one that works half way decently I've been using the OS more regularly.

Because of this, I have some stupid noobish questions. I may come back here as I think of them because I can't think of them all right now. My particular version of El Capitan for reference.

First, is there a way to make Photos not pop up every time I insert an SD card? It's annoying, and I can't find a way to turn this off.

Is there a way to get the same "delete" key function as the PC version? Since there's only one "Delete" on a Mac which is the same as "Backspace" on a PC, I was hoping there was some button combination I haven't thought of =P

Is there other well loved music playback software out there or is iTunes pretty much what everyone uses and nothing else is worth using?

Thanks for bearing with me, these things would make my life easier. I'm sure there's more, once they arise again, I'll be back =P

I'd check the Photos app preferences and see if there is a setting to disable it from popping up when you insert a memory card, I believe this was an option on iPhoto.

I don't know of any shortcuts for delete, but their desktop keyboards have both buttons.

I always used Google Play Music, and use the web interface for playing music. This worked with the music controls on the keyboard as well.

I don't see any option for it.. There's really not a lot to Photos preferences. I was hoping it was hiding somewhere else.

Ahh, so this is a macbook thing.

Google play huh? I use it on my phone so yeah, I'll give it a shot, thanks!
