Our Own Backup Cd

My brother just bought a computer, but it doesn't have a backup cd. So i was wondering how to make one. He has used about 11gb for far and wants it all back up. He has a dvd burner. so size doesn't matter.
 
I actually need the process on how to do it. Can you back it up through Nero ( if so can you provide the steps)

or do you go to Back-up from systems tools (program, accessories, system tools)

I would also like to know which is the safest and better
 
you can back it up with NERO, just start nero and burn all your data you want to back-up on a dvd, simple :)
 
ye but u have to click the dongle at the top from cd to dvd then burn data disc or wat ever u want select files and burn

but if he has only a dvd rom then he doesn't have to do that :)

he said he doesnt mind backing up on dvd's, which implies he has a dvd writer. and they can write cd's too, so he would have to slect it :P
