Out of these two?

So now, I'm thinking I want to be able to have more than 2 IDE devices on my computer, but the Gigabyte can't do that, and the Asus can...

See, I already have an IDE drive that I may want to use, it's only a 40GB though, I don't know if it's worth getting the Asus board and another IDE drive or getting the Gigabyte board and a SATA drive...

It just depends. If you're only using one optical and your 40 GB, then the Gigabyte board will suffice. However, if you're using two or more opticals and you want to use your 40 GB then you'll have to bite the bullet and buy the Asus. I don't see a real point having two burning drives, however I'm sure it'd cut the time down a little bit to save it having to write from the original to the hdd then from the hdd to the blank. Then again I may be wrong. In the end of it, it's just wheter you want to use both of your optical drives from your last pc.
 
Yeah, The Gigabyte will probably be the one I get, thanks for the help :)

Now, There's another decision to make... Do I:

1) Use only one optical drive and buy a SATA drive.

2) Buy another IDE HDD and stick it in the 5 1/2 bay with a convertor.

I'll probably go with the first one though becasue I may be buying a 120mm fan to go in 3 of the drive bays.
