D Djentrify New Member Nov 28, 2007 #1 Outlook 2000 is crashing shortly after starting. The PC is running Windows XP. Tried using the /safe switch, also tried renaming a few of the .dat files (frmcache, outcmd, etc), about to do a detect/repair. Any other suggestions?

E Eternal Rest New Member Nov 29, 2007 #2 Close outlook then find the outcmd.dat file and rename it to outcmd.bak. I'm not sure if it will work for you but it did for me awhile back.
