Outlook losing connection randomly

Okay, I've solved most of the bugs with my setup. But, tonight, just like last night, I checked my outlook and it worked fine once. Within 5 minutes, I have an error on all my accounts. Obviously I have internet access, so I know it's not internet connection. The response I keep getting is:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: '...', Server: '...', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Every time I shut down the PC and reboot, everything works fine. Quitting the app and restarting doesn't solve this. Microsoft says quite a few things, but none are conclusive. I've tried changing the ports to 143 (SSL) but to no avail. They are set on 25 and 110 without SSL setup, so I'm sure there are no issues there.

Okay, here's the kicker. I reboot every day, and within about 4-6 hours, it stops working on me. Third or fourth day in a row now.

You have a trojan on your computer SMALL-KY TROJAN, I am not sure how to deal with it you also have some websearch and other spyware on your computer wait for buzz or byteman to post a fix for you. I also noticed that you have a usb wireless internet connection missing files. Are you still using wireless? Maybe that has something to do with your lost connection, what kind of connection are you using DSL, Cable, wireless or straight from the modem?

No, no wireless. Someone else tipped me off to disabling the wireless access to my router. At one point (in the last house) I was running a USB linksys B link. Now, I just run it through the router directly. I didn't know enough to secure it before, but it wasn't an issue, houses were far away. Now, I'm in an apartment complex, so I had to turn it off. I was thinking someone was hopping on my lines. Anyhow, I'll try to find out more about the SMALL-KY.

BTW, I'm using cable modem to a 4-port router. From the router, two ethernet cables, one to each box.

Find a way to reinstall the program. I think that might work. It has for me, not on outlook but on other progs.

You say Outlook losing connection randomly? Try looking into tools>options>connections and tell me if your outlook shares your internet connection settings with internet explorer, and another thing is in your post you said that you worked out most of the bugs? Please explain, what kind of bugs did you work out and what did you do? As far as your trojan and spyware go like I said wait for buzz or byteman to post a fix for you they are the experts as far as that goes, dont just start deleting stuff or you could mess it up more. But I dont think thats whats causing your outlook problem but we will get to that, I am pretty sure I can help you!

PS: What browser are you using?
