Ouya

This is definitely interesting. Any kind of user generated content has the potential to grow large. This one seems by far the best example of something that has the potential to grow into something incredible. I am worried though of the performance.

Heard of it awhile back, wasn't really intrigued. Yes it had potential for growth, but I personally think it'll be a niche group product.

I think I'll take a pass. I have pretty much all the gaming systems I need sitting in my bedroom as it is. No need for a streaming device.

If the girlfriend wants one, which I don't believe she showed much interest awhile back, then I may end up with one. But until then, ehh..

Interesting...
I want it, but I doubt it plays games like LOL or TV more then lowest settings.
If I read it right, you can modify it's hardware (and software) pretty easy.

I really doubt it takes off. Honestly, this will probably be more appealing to indie devs than anyone else. The only benefit of buying this as a pure console gamer, is that all games are free to play in some aspect.

I would definitely consider getting one, but I would probably want to hear some user opinions first. There is very high potential for it but, as with most user based content, there will be a lot of crap to wade through in order to find the good stuff. But the price is definitely one of its selling points.

Well the ouya launched in uk today, reports of stock shortages already at amazon and game, obviously ouya is not meant to be an xbox or playstation but does anybody think at only £99 it has got to be worth a punt or is it a joke product not worth looking at.
