Over clocking 7600 GT

I am expecting my 7600GT in a day or two, and i was wondering if it would be beneficial to over clock it and if so how to do so.

Im gonna be watching TV on computer and playing some games like unreal tournament 2004 and battlefield 2

yeh it looks worth while, can get quite an increase in performance. Just google it, there is quite a few tutorials

I believe that is a popular software tool for OCing Nvidia cards.

You could increase bus speed of your video card as well but do so at your own risk.

I am sure it will over clock some, but at the first sign of hanging or artifacting you need to reduce your clock speeds. Make sure to monitors temps as well, and get a baseline before beginning.
 
I beilive ntune will check the setting to make sure its stable and your not trying to push it to far it is an easy to use and really nice program
 
You will not need to overclock a 7600GT for games like UT2004. :D overclocking for games like that would generate unwanted heat into your system.
