Over clocking a Gateway Profile 3

I have a Gateway Profile 3 All-in-one that i have been using, and I was wanting to try to overclock it. it has a pentium 3 processor, and i can open it up, and view the internal components, but i wasn't sure where to start to overclock.

You should be able to find a chip on your motherboard if you can open it up enough, I'll need to show you next time. I tried to overclock my dell with clockgen before (after finding my ICS number and a bit of trial and error) but I believe you have to overclock in much bigger increments than more recent motherboards.

Let me go and check my ICS number...

EDIT: The one that worked for me was ICS 950405 (In PLL setup). Just start at the top and go down through all the selections, pressing read clocks at each one and waiting for 3 or so seconds. It's funny, right now it says my 1GHz proc is running at 853Mhz :)

Funny, i had Clockgen running on the machine, but once i find the PLL type, it won't let me go to the PPL menus. When I open the program, it only has the options and clocks menus listed. anyone elso have this problem? I tried reloading clockgen several times...

I tried Softfsb with ICS 9250xx-08, the closest thing to 9250xx-28, and my entire screen screwed up, with red and white bars across the screen after i pressed the "Get FSB" button, so I unplugged the computer and it worked again. Any other Ideas?
