Over heating temps?

I d/l speed fan today and it shows me all the temps in my pc. My question is what is the temps that different parts of the pc is suppose to run. Im not sure if its over heating or not. Like different parts of the mobo and the hard drive.
 
Sorry about that. I have just a basic HP from wallmart just in a different case. It has a Intel Celeron Processer CPU 2.00 GHz. Mobo is a ASUSTek P4G533LA. Theres only 2 fans in my computer on on the mobo and one on the back of the case. Im not sure where each fan reading i have is for. But one reading is for fan one at 100 Degrees F, the other is fan two at 181 degrees F, and last is the hard drive at 239 degrees F.
 
I took the fan out of the back of the pc and held it up to the hdd and got that temp it was higher then that. How do i find out which fan is which or what there suppose to be cooling. Why would the factory build a system that comes out over heating. I havnt done anything to the pc besides put it in a different case (bigger case) those HP cases are tiny.

Edit what temps should they be running so i know how much to try and cool them.
 
I'm really not sure LOL my hard drive right now is at 86 degrees F. It could be miss reading the temps cause that is like insanly high.
 
I have two hard drives one on top of the other. A 60GB hdd and a 20 GB hdd the temp was up at like 365 untill i put the fan out of the back right on it then it went down to like 151 now.
 
Yes, it's more than likely misreading the temps. Your HDD would fail were it at 239°F. My 2 HDDs hover around 39-40°C which is 102.2-104°F.
 
I have had this pc sense 03 so unless something is failing its the temps its always had so it must be miss reading. If not then its been overheating sense i have owned it and it hasnt hurt anything so far for the past 3 years.
 
thats kinda what i was thinking thats why i made this post. haha i guess speedfan doesnt work that great with my computer. Damn HP


EDIT ~ Do you think it could be adding both temps of my hard drives. I have two hard drives in my pc but it only shows one in speed fan. Maybe its the combined temp of both. IDK just a guess.

well then you know it can't be 215F (something like that), cause that'll burn you on contact.
 
hmm now my hdd is at 108 degrees F. So i guess speedfan doesnt work with my pc. Does anyone know any other programs that does the same as speed fan. Im curious to see what the real temp is.
