hey does anyone know how to overclock amd athlon 64 3200+. it has a nvidia geforce 6100 chipset and the mobo model is c51-mcp51 and the ram is pc3200

If you don't know anything about overclocking, a Google search would prove much more beneficial than this forum. start by figuring out if your motherboards BIOS even supports overclocking.

Is your 3200 a 754 or a 939

If its a 754 drop your Hypertransport to X3, if its a 939 drop it to X4

Lower your Ram from PC3200 to PC2700

Then start raising your FSB up a few MHZ at a time till it locks up then back it off a few MHZ. If you want to go any higher you have to increase your CPU voltage just a little but if you do raise voltage watch your CPU temps.

Your first post you tell someone to go somewhere else? What do you think this forum is for, Cat care?

Ummm... no. I'm just saying that there is very detailed instructions out there if he is not knowledgeable on the subject. Its hard to explain adjusting your ram clock speeds if he is not familiar with a BIOS, and the answers he would need is readily available if he searched.

By no means am i saying that this forums members are not knowledgeable, I am just saying that the answers are easily found by searching.

Like i said, a minute of searching can go a long way...
