overclock failed?

My mobo is now telling me that the overclock setting failed press f1 or f2 even though its not overclocked. It first freezes at bios then I have to press f2 to reset setting an then it would work good until I turn it off again. What could cause the problem. I thinking is the OS.
system:
mobo: asus P4P800-E DELUXE
CPU 478 3.2 HT
RAM 3200 512 x2

I have the same ASUS Board, the same thing happen try updating the bios version. download it in ASUS site

go into the bios and hit load fail-safe defaults

Thanks for all the help guy but all I had to do is up the memory V to 2.75 is used to be at 2.65v.
