overclock help.

hi there sorry to be the third person everyday asking for this kind of help.

but before i fry something id rather get some info and advice from peeps that know how to do all of these things that i want to do.

comp parts;
i7 950
gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r
gtx 570
6 gig xms corsair ram
850w corsair power supply
noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler
ocz vertex II ssd
and all enclosed into my phantom case

if i could be told the steps the overclock my cpu to 4ghz (or even higher if possible) would be greatly apppreciated as ive been googling for hours and also youtubing =[

Well start small.. keep incrementing it up a few Mhz until it becomes unstable then bump up the voltage and keep watching your temps.. Thats about it when it comes to over clocking.. it takes a long time. you also void any warranties!!!
