Excuse for troubling dears dudes).I'have xfx geforce 5500 video card.Standard this 270 - 400 as soon as I raise gives out a mistake (The test failed to run at the selected clock frequencies. Please lower your setting and try again) at any dispersal like 275 -410. Also tried coolbits, riva-tunner, geforce_overclock, last nvidia driver... again this mistake nothing help me. maybe some one here can help whis this thing :( I shall be very grateful...
my system amd 2600+
motherbord NF7 abit series"...

Hey

The driver tests your hardware's capability to deal with the frequencies that you have selected. I have the same error message when I take it too far. Sometimes, some cards are already clocked to their limit and simply will not take more.

jan i think thats is! Its 5200 overclocked - to 5500 i allready read about this fake!" so i can overclock it only another way :)back.... 5500 thats real fake.... thats may becouse it xfx?

I have an XFX 5200 128Mb and can overclock it far more than to the speeds of a 5500. In fact it is running now, overclocked an obscene amount. I do have a PCI exhaust up against the side of it though, so it may be temp related.

Hmmm

do no its not far from 5200) some way to overclock it?" maybe bios sorry i noob in overclock :)

Sometimes....good cooling can make a huge difference. However, with your card, I would not think it would be worth investing into quite expensive cooling. I would leave the frequencies as they are and be happy it works. Afterall, I do not think the performance increase by overclocking your card would greatly increase.

thanks for info peopels) another question whats thats' mean (handle overclocking) ???and
there should be a way though on to disperse this card a few like 300 - 450 i think its not far? and cooling system, what about thats? May i will make fotos of my video card, you look and tell?

Both are XFX

They are similar, but no where near exact

Handle overclocking means = if overclocking is possible on that card.
I really think your card has reached its limits.
As to the cooling....the 5200 requires no fan. The 5500 should have a fan as both the memory and core heat up more.

The difference between the 5500 and the 5200 is that the 5500 has a fan and a little more power circuitry because it's clocked higher than the 5200.
