Overclockable ?

First of all, my specs:

Mobo= ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939
CPU=AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Toledo 2.4GHz skt 939.
*CPU Cooled by Thermalright XP-90
GPU= eVGA GeForce 7950GT 512MB. The "superclocked" version. I believe this means it's already factory overclocked.
2x Western Digital 160GB (RAID 0)
Antec 430w Truepower II (34v on both +12v, max 31v. I bought this over 2 years ago so im hoping this will hold up.)
**Corsair Valueselect 1gb dual channel (might be a problem...)

I just ordered this setup to improve upon my previous setup. 3000+, 6600gt, etc. (very decent way back when). I didn't order conroe in order to save about 400 bucks. I did the math. I am hoping to get good performance out of this dual-core setup.

- Under best circumstances, I want to get my cpu to 3.0 ghz. I am willing to upgrade Ram in order to achieve this - but only if necessary. I chose a mobo that i felt was more than decent for overclocking.. hopefully i didn't blow it. I'm sure my XP-90 can keep my CPU cool under intense conditions. The only thing im skeptical of is my RAM. My next paycheck is soon so a new dose of faster ram shouldn't be a problem.

Any thoughts are appreciated. thanks

I'm not sure...Corsair is generally very good, and good for OC'ing...

But what did you use with your aftermarket HSF? Did you just use a thermal pad, or did you actually use a good thermal compound, such as Arctic Silver 5?
