I overclocked my Core 2 Duo E7300 it runs @ 2.66GHz stock, but i overclocked to 2.91GHz stable ran prime95 for about a hour no errors. When i try to get it over 3.0GHz my harddrive crashes and i end up getting a error about missing a certain windows file. After i overclocked windows loaded and i got to my desktop but it froze and when i restarted it said a file got corrupted so i reformated and it fixed it. Now im running 2.91GHz stable but i want to go higher and i kno the E7300 can go higher. What am i doing wrong my cooling is air but its not stock and @ 2.91GHz my temp is around 45 C underload. I also have arctic silver 5 paste tht i applied today before overclock it lowered my temps by 10 C which is good. Someone help plz.

in my bios it gives me 1 voltage option put it says memory voltage i dont think thts to the cpu? but it could be since its in the cpu section of bios. it gives me a .05, .10, .15 option. i dont want to mess with it b cuz i dont feel like messing my ram up. why does the harddrive get corrupted ? and i kno in bios it gives me my current Vcore but it changes in bios like decimal .5 .9 changes or w.e. i remember a while back someone said its something called a Vcore drop and the board changes the voltages on its on depending on the clock? correct me if im wrong.
