Overclocked failed when i did not overclocked...

man this is annoying..my new rig was fine and running like a horse
now it says overclocked failed..pressed F1 load default settings and it goes to the vista screen...

however my computer just freezes with little bit of um...splash screen

splash screen meaning bunch of unusual pixels around the screen

right now i just removed cmos battery to see if it resets BIOS.....

well please help...so sad

First thing to do which by the sounds of it you have done is reset the CMOS. What happened when you put the battery back in and rebooted?

there should be a reset jumper you can bridge, either that or remove the battery AND unplug at the same time and leave for a few secs/mins...that will take you back to default
