Overclocking an Athlon X2

Just wondering does anyone know how far you can OC an Athlon X2 4400+ without it running really hot. Can someone tell me what does AM2 Boost do? have it in my bios i dont know what it does and if i should turn it on.

simple answer the more you overclock it the hotter it gets, try slowly moving it up the ghz scale and measuring the CPU temp for an hour before moving up another few mhz
 
apart from water cooled and type of heatsink and fan take the more heat away from a processor? If i got a really good fan how far could i OC my CPU.
Each core runs at 2.21, and i able to get it up to 2.5 without it killing itself?

yeah depending on the motherboard, 2.5 is very very reachable with your setup, and should give you a nice boost.
