Overclocking C2D, will it disable speedstep?

I was just wondering whether overclocking my E4500 would disable speedstep because of the higher speed? Or would it just allow speedstep to throttle up to my overclocked speed?

Speedstep will still work, just at different frequencies. It only controls the multiplier. Mine goes between 12x(2.0GHz), 16x(2.6GHz) and 20x(3.3GHz).

Ok, but what if i change the multiplier in the BIOS? (if you can do that)
