ok, i had recenly installed windows on my new pc i built (in sig) and started overclocking it, going pretty far because i was idleing at ~27*C to start with. i got to about 3.45ghz and was idling at around 31-31*C. back to bios and try for a little more, and when i reboot, my windows is corrupted. i go back to stock, and my windows is still corrupted. i try to do a repair install, but it locks me out, saying i forgot my password. (i didn't set one???) i have recently reinstalled windows, but haven't tried overclocking past ~3.3ghz again. could it be a cheap mobo? maybe the pc2700 memory? i know it sure as heck isn't temps.
