I am using a program called setfsb for overclocking. There is no overclocking setting in bios.

What happen is if I increase 1 more % overclocked to 16% overclocked, it will crash in any time.

So i dont know what cause it crash. Thanks.

Normal to Overclocked when it crash.
CPU
Core Speed 2400 to 2790 Mhz
Bus Speed 200 to 232.5 Mhz
Rated FBS 800 to 930
hadnt touch the volage

Memory
400 to 465 Mhz
timing 5-6-6-18
hadnt touch the volage

It most likely crashed because you're system is unstable. Most of those overclocking programs aren't very reliable anyway.

hmm i actually didnt know such a program existed!

How can this OC with out being in the BIOS???

Whats the difference between the traditional OC in BIOS and windows oc applications?

Id really like to know

sounds like you need to buy boards and ram that are made for overclocking, don't go cheap... get the best bang for the buck. if you're using a PLL modifier like setfsb you shouldn't be overclocking. get a bios clockable board with vCore, vDIMM and vMCH settings and FSB/timings settings. the way i see it if you're gonna half ass it you're never going to get a good clock. if so every world record would be set on a compaq presario or dell dimension.
