Overclocking E4300 vs. E2160

I've heard great things about OCing the Intel E2160 to 3.0+. How about the E4300? How much of a performance gain should I expect between the E4300 and E2160? I can get either one in my budget. This will be a holdover CPU until I get an E8400 after supply returns.

E4300 has a 2Mb cache and E2160 has a 1Mb cache. You can't see that big of a difference(cache performance increase) without running benchmarks, especially at 3.0Ghz. If you are looking for a good buy get the E2160...

the e4300 will hit 1066 FSB with stock fan and no voltage change, thats 2.93GHZ...

No, he is talking about E2220 which have 200MHz higher clock speed than E2200 at stock speeds. It is not out yet though
