Overclocking effects...

I was wondering, can overclocking a processor too far screw up the L1 or L2 cache on the processor? Microsoft says that an error I keep getting that's rendering my computer unusable (http://www.computerforum.com/showthread.php?t=39200) can be caused by a cache error. If it's not from overclocking, is there anyway to RMA a processor? I don't think so, as no warranty is on it, but I'm just checking.

Thanks:)

I have never heard of Cing taking out the cache on a processor, but voltage can do crazy things. I would not rule it out.

Warranties on processors are near useless.

From what I remember you were running like 1.7 V, which is pretty high. It might have caused some damage. See if you can plug in a freinds CPU and run some cpu intensive aplications.
