Overclocking / heat

I want to overclock my Geforce 6800 128mb 8x, but I'm afraid its going to sizzle away after I OC it.

Right now, without doing anything, its at 71C and the ambient temp is at 53C.

Now wait a second... that must mean my case is around 120 degrees F and my gpu is 150+!? When the AC is on (its not now), and I havn't played BF2 (I played like 4 hours today) its around 61C.

Is my GPU REALLY 150-165 degrees farhenheit or am I being mistaken for 71, 63, 61 degrees farhenheit? Is 165 degrees even possible?

AMD 3200+
1 gig PC3200
430w PSU
180gb 7200rpm

Edit: Im a hardcore newb at OCing, so all I do is install coolbits right? Then I like... I dont know... move the MHZ slide bars up untill I start seeing crappy video, then I lower it untill it gets good again?

71C for a video card is normal after playing a game, 53C idle is a tad on the hot side, but perfectly fine.

Overclocking doesnt increase the amount of heat too much, as long as you dont go crazy with overclocking.
