Hey, I want to overclock my PC. Not alot though as I still have stock cooling.

My computer is a Core 2 Duo E6300 @1.86GHz.

Motherboard is Asus P5B-VM.

the BIOS wont let me change any of the CPU speed. Any software that would help me overclock the CPU?

Preferably at a stable point. Possibly around 2-2.2Ghz?

update your BIOS an u should be able to do it in the BIOS but i do not know any OCing prorogram that u can change your Voltage only FSB an your multiplyer.
Speedfan will do it.
CPUcool.
CPU FSB.
thats a few

for god sakes don't use software to oc your system.
take this bios, put it on a flash drive or on a floppy. Insert it in your system.
After that go into your bios. find the ez-flash program
and use it to update your bios.

Overclocking your cpu is done by increasing the speed of the fsb, find that option in your mobo. And start by increasing it some and see how much the cpu speeds rises in your installation. Do keep an eye on your temps (use everest, core temp, intel tat or something else you like).

I also suggest reading the oc'ing thread
