Eh... From what I've read, that and a few other Asrock boards aren't too good for overclocking. It has to do with the limitations of the FSB on it. I used to have an MSI with the same problem. It would overclock GREAT up until I got to a certain point. No matter what processor I had on it, it was the same. I would POSSIBLY recommend a different board, such as one of the newer MSI's, Asus', or possibly a Gigabyte.
You can get a REALLY good Asus board with the AM2+ socket for about $99 from Fry's Electronics, or Newegg. Hey, atleast you didn't get an ECS...
