OVERCLOCKING - how to ?

So i installed GTA4 and i noticed i cant play the game on high settings only on 800x600. so i was wondering how do i overclock my

HIS ATI RADEOn X1650 Videocard 512 Mb ?

Rivatuner is the best. Just use the sliders, get some way to test temps and stability (against crashes and artifacts), and you're golden. Just don't go too buckwild--stay in the limits of your card.

CCC is the control utility provided by ATI (AMD) for their video cards, not all video cards can be overclocked via the CCC, so you would need a third party application such as RivaTuner which was already mentioned.

try amd fusion for gaming (beta) , but with normal setting it isn't really that powerful but go to advanced mode and you then enter liberty city xD

You can also use the hardware monitoring to keep an eye on your temps.

Oh, and I'd use ATI Tool to 'Scan for Artifacts'... which is just basically testing the stability

Do not use ati tool to overclock. It does not work very well at it!

Thanks! i was looking for something to test gpu stability besides just running a game and have monitoring on a second screen.
