Overclocking kills my internet connection?

I recently decided to delve into the world of overclocking.

ASUS P5B-VM SE
4gb (2x2gb) Corsair RAM
Q6600 [email protected]
Zalman 9500a
antec 900 case
610 watt psu power and cooling
Gigabyte radeon hd 3870

But my internet connection won't come through and stays on local only, rather than going local and internet. Is this a result of a cheap mobo? (I know I didn't shut off Onboard LAN, I checked twice)

After I reset to defaults the internet connection comes back. I am on a wired connection through a router. Any thoughts?

it is probably because the PCIE bus is out of spec. Try a PCI network card and see if it fixes it. This is a common issue from my experience with Overclocking on the intel chipsets.
