Overclocking my Pentium M Processor

Hi there :)

I have here a Viglen Futura S200, and it has a Pentium M processor 1.5ghz, fed up with the whole laptop atm, and want a bit more ooommffttt out of it, how can i overclock this processor ? And what would be the max i can overclock it to ?

It depends--most computers that have been purchased from a manufacturer (instead of built from scratch) will have the BIOS options that you need to overclock locked. You can still check, though--when your computer boots, press the key to get into the BIOS (Some computers are F2, some are Delete, etc). When it goes to the BIOS, check to see if there is anything related to adjusting the FSB or adjusting Voltages.
 
ive never tried to oc a laptop does it not work to flash the bios? or does it not make a difference because it has been made by the manufacturer

Since there are so many different laptops out there, odds are tweakers aren't going to spend the time to created a modded BIOS that you can use in place of your factory BIOS.
