Hi ppl, could do with some advise/help on overclocking my 4600 X2,
Standard it was at: 12 x 200, 2400mhz 800 fsb, RAM 400mhz RAMF @ 200mhz
I got it to: 12 x 224, 2688mhz 896 fsb RAM 333 mhz cpu vcore 1.4250 volts RAMF @ 179.2mhz and its runs gr8 but when i got to 2.7ghz i started noticing corruption under full load. Then i jumped to 2.8ghz and got blue screen of death
.
Cpu temps are 22c idle and 34c under full load @ 2.7ghz
Am i going about this the wrong way ?, Is 2.7ghz peak frequency for my 4600+ X2 ??
If any one can help me out or throw a few suggestions my way i will be most greatfull, cheers again ppl
